The 3 Cs of DIY

DIY (Do it Yourself) is all the rage these days. It is nothing but the independence streak 21st century people are born with. Be it building a shelf or making a bookmark, we want to try to do it ourselves. But doing it ourselves is not as easy as it looks, and hence, here are the 3 C’s you need to follow while undertaking any DIY project.

1. Consider
The most important aspect of any DIY assignment is to consider it. From all angles. For example, if you want to build a shelf, you need to consider how to build the shelf, all the things you need to make the shelf, and how to obtain those things.

2. Consult
Yes, DIY means doing it yourself. But, while doing anything for the first time, you absolutely need to consult an expert. The reason for this is simple: they know how to do it the right way. You might end up wasting your time and energy if you try something without consulting an expert first.

3. Care
This simply means to be careful. Any project should be done carefully, but especially a DIY project. If you are taking up a project for the first time, it requires careful consideration and consultation.
